Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Dalit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dexter Dalit!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dalit closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Miller to the mat! Miller manages to get full guard.
Miller on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Miller tries to get out of the position.
Miller wants to sweep but no luck.
Miller throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Miller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Dalit really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Miller. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Miller lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dalit!
Dalit is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Dalit is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Miller stands up from mount. Strange move.

Dalit shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Miller tries to get to full guard but Dalit has control of the leg.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller misses with some strikes from the bottom.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Miller is on top in guard.

Miller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

The fight stays on the outside here - Miller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Miller wants to clinch up but Dalit keeps it at a distance.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dalit swats him away and circles back towards the center.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Miller will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Miller fails in his attempt to clinch.

Miller wants to clinch up but Dalit keeps it at a distance.

Dalit throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Miller stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Dalit dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Miller is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dalit looking to control but Miller is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Dalit prevents Miller from getting the reversal.
Dalit sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Miller is looking to improve his position but Dalit isn't that keen on the idea.

Dalit wants to control the pace but Miller is squirming around nicely.
Miller is wriggling around trying to escape.
Dalit trying to control but Miller is having none of it.
Miller really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Miller sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Miller moves into full guard.
Miller tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Miller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dalit's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dexter Dalit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Miller is staying active underneath Dalit, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Miller manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Dalit must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Miller is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Miller escapes and gets back to his feet.

and Dalit counters with a shoot takedown. Miller fights it but they end up in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Miller won't let Dalit get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Miller closes the distance but Dalit moves to the side

and Dalit counters with a nice double leg into side control. Miller won't be happy with that.

Miller is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Dalit's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Miller works his way to full guard. Good work.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dexter Dalit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Dalit has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
