Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Georges StPierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Wiles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges StPierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Max Wiles!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiles connects with the punch.
StPierre lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by StPierre.
StPierre doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Wiles counters with a nice kick to the body.
StPierre is breathing heavily.
StPierre tries to sprawl but Wiles drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Wiles throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Wiles throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Wiles is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
StPierre pushes Wiles off looking to stand but Wiles dives back in and keeps control.
Wiles trying to mount his opponent but StPierre defends it.
StPierre is staying active underneath Wiles, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Wiles is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. StPierre doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wiles.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Wiles connects with a nice short shot to StPierre's temple.

Wiles working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wiles winds up and cracks StPierre with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Wiles is looking to take a break and control but StPierre is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Wiles is keen to just control but StPierre is a slippery customer.
Wiles is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! StPierre is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
