Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dondi Daga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rob Smalling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dondi Daga has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dondi Daga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rob Smalling!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalling throws a right hand that Daga ducks under and follows up with a left that Daga also avoids with ease.

Daga shoots in and bounces Smalling off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Daga stops Smalling from standing up.
Smalling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Daga slips nicely into half guard.
Smalling pushes Daga off but Daga dives into side control.

Daga decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smalling to his feet.

Daga rushes Smalling and presses him up against the cage.
Daga stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Smalling is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Smalling wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Daga ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Daga no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Daga working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Smalling has passed into half guard!

Daga is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Smalling's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Smalling's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Daga decides to stand up, so the ref orders Smalling to his feet.
Smalling misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Smalling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daga moves away.
Daga thows a body shot but no joy.
Rob Smalling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Smalling shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Daga eats them both and turns towards Smalling to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Smalling throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Daga.

Daga clinches up with Smalling and pushes him back against the cage.
Smalling can't break the clinch.

Daga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Smalling throws a series of punches but Daga avoids them all with ease.
Smalling jabs Daga to the body, keeping him at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
