Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Lawal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Jackson! Lawal with shots to the head and body - Jackson looks very uncomfortable down there. Jackson tries to lock up and control but Lawal gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Jackson bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lawal is trying to control the position but Jackson postures up. Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson pushes down on Lawal's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lawal on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lawal tries to get out of the position. Jackson is working for a submission of some sort.
Lawal wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lawal doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson. Jackson looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson stops Lawal from getting back to his feet.
Jackson is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lawal has managed to free his arm - good work. Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Jackson in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lawal tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jackson!
