Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Powers with a poor takedown
and Saurus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Powers!
Saurus is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Powers can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Powers is working to get back to half guard.
Saurus is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Saurus extends the arm and Powers is forced to tap!
