The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newsom lunges at He with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by He's hand.
Newsom lands a nice hook to He's body. He takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Newsom fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. He looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A right-left combo lands from Newsom.
He throws a leg kick but Newsom moved away.
He keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Newsom.
Newsom darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Newsom throws an uppercut from half a mile away. He sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Newsom connects with a jab.
He tries to clinch but Newsom moves out of range.
Newsom scores with a sloppy right hand. He should have avoided that one.
Newsom scores with a hook to the body. He takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

He is rocked!
He walks straight into a right hand from Newsom - that's dropped him! Newsom jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save He from any more punishment! He complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
