Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banal stuffs the takedown attempt from clipper. clipper gets slowly back to his feet.
clipper shoots in for a takedown but Banal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Banal.
Banal is chipping away with strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Banal moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Banal looking to control but instead clipper has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Banal thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
clipper on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Banal seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but clipper does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Banal scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Banal thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing clipper to regain full guard.
Banal keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of clipper's head.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Banal accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Banal trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
clipper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Banal thows a big elbow that misses.
clipper can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Banal controls the pace.
Banal working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Banal trying to control the position from guard on top but clipper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

clipper has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Banal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Banal wants to control from the top but clipper keeps moving.
Banal cracks clipper with a solid left hand.
Banal passes easily into side control. Nice work.

clipper takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Banal lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
clipper taking punishment in the form of punches.
Banal landing strikes.
Banal trying to control the action but clipper is working from the bottom.
clipper is working to avoid the ground and pound but Banal connects with a decent elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Banal works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Banal has an Americana. clipper didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Banal is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Banal hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
