Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bass Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liquid Paper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bass Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Liquid Paper! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, John Mangel and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Paper looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hunter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hunter looking to control.
Paper gets to his feet. Hunter looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Paper misses the jab. Hunter is looking to clinch. Paper decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Paper really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hunter keeping control of the position. Hunter is pressing down on Paper's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Paper trying to control but Hunter is working from the bottom. Paper won't allow Hunter to sweep him here. Paper has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hunter is proving hard to escape from.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hunter looking to control.

Hunter thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter tries to control but Paper wriggling away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hunter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Paper can't escape the position.
Hunter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Paper is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Paper is holding on tight.
Hunter trying to control but Paper is having none of it. Hunter wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. Hunter tries to control but Paper wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Paper tries to hold on but Hunter postures up. Hunter tries to control but Paper wriggling away. Paper tries to hold on but Hunter postures up. Hunter trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hunter wants to control but instead Paper manages to regain half guard. Hunter trying to mount his opponent but Paper defends it. Hunter trying to control from half guard but Paper is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liquid Paper dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Paper swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunter. Paper closes the distance and pushes Hunter back into the cage. Hunter tries to pull guard but Paper won't allow it.
Paper has Hunter pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Paper pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hunter tumbling to the mat - Paper dives into Hunter's guard. Paper won't allow Hunter to sweep him here. Hunter has a closed guard, preventing Paper from standing up. Paper postures up.
Hunter is working an open guard so Paper takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Hunter tries to clinch up and Paper counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hunter looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunter, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paper is pushing down on Hunter's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hunter is fighting to maintain full guard but Paper has managed to sneak the leg through. Hunter wants to control but Paper passes into side.
Paper is breathing heavily. Paper scoring with punches from side control. Hunter is looking to reverse the position. Hunter is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Paper working away. Paper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hunter is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. You can see the frustration on Hunter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter tries to bench press Paper off him but Paper keeps the position. Paper wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hunter, who protects the arm well. Paper working away. Hunter is looking for a sweep. Paper fails to land a wild elbow strike.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Paper wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hunter keeps working. Hunter is trying to improve his position. Hunter manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Hunter manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hunter looking for a sweep. Not yet Hunter, not yet. Hunter trying to control the position.
Paper throwing strikes from guard but Hunter blocks nicely. Paper gets to his feet - Hunter follows without any prompting. Hunter wants to clinch and Paper counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter wants to sweep here but Paper controlling him for the moment. Hunter looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Paper won't allow Hunter to sweep him here. Paper is looking to stand up but Hunter won't let him. Paper stopping the sweep attempt from Hunter. Hunter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Paper puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hunter moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Liquid Paper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hunter darts in trying to clinch and Paper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hunter won't be happy with that. Paper has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Paper pushes Hunter up against the cage in a clinch. Hunter tries to pull guard but Paper won't allow it.
Hunter jumps into guard, dragging Paper to the mat.
Hunter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Paper is one step ahead there. Hunter not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Hunter is really struggling to control Paper but he's trying to hold on to the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Paper tries to stand but Hunter is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter is trying to keep Paper in close.
Hunter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Paper trying to control the position from guard on top but Hunter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hunter tries to clinch and Paper decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hunter's guard. Paper has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hunter is proving hard to escape from. Hunter looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hunter can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Paper controls the pace. Paper postures up.
Paper must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Bass Hunter just wasn't active enough. Paper misses with a body kick. Hunter tries to clinch up so Paper counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Paper pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hunter is keeping the position for now. Hunter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Paper manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Paper keeping moving, preventing Hunter from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter won't allow Paper to sweep him here. Hunter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Paper's guard. Hunter is trying to control the action in half guard but Paper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Paper wants to get back to full guard. Hunter passes to full mount! Hunter controlling from mount. Paper tries to lock up and control but Hunter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter has control of Paper's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Paper regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hunter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hunter looking to control but Paper is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Paper really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

And that's the end of the fight! Liquid Paper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Paper has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
