Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Larry Shaw!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jackson wants it to stay on the feet.
Shaw keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson lands with a thumping leg kick.
Jackson gets a takedown into half guard.
Jackson scoring with strikes to the body and head.
Shaw flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shaw is trying to stand up here but Jackson is controlling him well.
Shaw is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Jackson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shaw gets back to full guard.
Jackson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Shaw has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Jackson is looking to work some ground and pound but Shaw has wrist control.

Jackson tries to advance to mount but can't.
Shaw sneaks back into half guard.
Shaw is trying to get back to full guard.
Jackson is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Shaw!

Jackson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shaw can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Shaw is desperately trying to improve his position but Jackson has a good base and remains in mount.
Jackson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

That has opened up Larry Shaw's cut even more.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
BOOM! Jackson connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jackson lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Jackson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jackson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jackson lands a heavy elbow.
Jackson trying to control but Shaw is having none of it.
Jackson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Shaw's face.
Jackson postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shaw looks a forlorn figure.
Shaw is bucking up trying to escape but Jackson cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The cut above Larry Shaw's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Shaw can't escape the position.
Shaw looks gassed!
Jackson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Larry Shaw's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Larry Shaw's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Arthur Jackson!
