Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ozzie Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aloe VERA (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). VERA has chosen Low as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ozzie Castillo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ozzie Castillo! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Aloe VERA! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! VERA uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Castillo. VERA fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Castillo throws a predictable looking body shot
and VERA counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. VERA prevents Castillo from improving his position. VERA is working for a submission of some sort.
VERA is keen to just control but Castillo is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. VERA is controlling the pace.
VERA is trying to control. Castillo wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Castillo is looking for a sweep. VERA is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. VERA is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Castillo has managed to free his arm - good work. VERA wants to pass the guard but Castillo is defending well. VERA is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. VERA seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Castillo avoiding damage under a succession of punches from VERA. VERA tries to pass to full mount but Castillo defends it. Castillo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. VERA trying to control the action but Castillo is working from the bottom. VERA is controlling the pace.
VERA wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castillo keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. VERA is stalling here. Castillo is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! VERA seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Castillo has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. VERA is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Castillo's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Castillo trying to pass the guard but VERA defending well. VERA regains full guard. Nicely done. VERA tries to strike from the bottom.
VERA is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Castillo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of VERA is proving hard to escape from. There's a bit of a scramble here and now VERA is on top in guard.
VERA stands and throws Castillo's legs to the side, diving into side control. Castillo is looking for a sweep. VERA tries for a kimura but Castillo is defending well. VERA tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. VERA has hold of Castillo's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Castillo tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - VERA cranks the arm and Castillo screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Castillo, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Aloe VERA! Aloe VERA is the new light heavyweight champion!
