The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze avoids the head kick by Kapidosok.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kapidosok enables Haze to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kapidosok manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Haze might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kapidosok can't keep his opponent in guard - Haze advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kapidosok moves into full guard.
Haze drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kapidosok dives on top into guard.
Haze is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Kapidosok wants to control from the top but Haze keeps moving.
Haze uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Kapidosok throws a sloppy head kick and Haze moves out of range easily.

Kapidosok is in a horrible position here. Haze smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Kapidosok is desperately trying to improve his position but Haze has a good base and remains in mount.
Haze avoids the attempt from Kapidosok to control.
Haze takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Haze is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kapidosok has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Haze lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Haze avoids the attempt from Kapidosok to control.
Kapidosok looks gassed!
Haze working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kapidosok turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Haze off and cradles Kapidosok's limp body as Haze celebrates with his corner.
