Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Moreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Bunoyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Moreiro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Bunoyan!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Moreiro.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Moreiro is defended easily by Bunoyan.
Moreiro wants to clinch up but Bunoyan keeps it at a distance.

Bunoyan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bunoyan lands in his opponent's guard.
Moreiro wants to stand and escape but Bunoyan is having none of it.
Bunoyan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Moreiro knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bunoyan on the ground.
Moreiro wants to sweep but no luck.

Moreiro looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Bunoyan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Bunoyan decides to stand up.
Moreiro has his takedown stuffed

and Bunoyan holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bunoyan tries to pull guard but Moreiro holds him up against the cage and eventually Bunoyan drops back down to his feet.

Bunoyan pulls guard effortlessly.
Moreiro has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bunoyan is proving hard to escape from.

Bunoyan pushes Moreiro off and scrambles back to his feet.
Moreiro gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Bunoyan counters with a single leg into guard. Moreiro didn't expect that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carlos Moreiro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moreiro is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bunoyan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Bunoyan stands up and waves to Moreiro to follow him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bunoyan closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bunoyan gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bunoyan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Bunoyan decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Moreiro, up you get!

Bunoyan shoots in and bounces Moreiro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bunoyan content to stall in guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moreiro will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up. George Bunoyan was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Bunoyan darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bunoyan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Bunoyan dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Bunoyan has Moreiro up against the cage in a clinch.
Moreiro drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Moreiro has had enough of the clinch but Bunoyan keeps him there for the moment.
Moreiro content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Bunoyan blocks an elbow strike.

Bunoyan decides to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bunoyan trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Bunoyan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moreiro!
Bunoyan scoring with strikes but Moreiro is staying in there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Moreiro tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bunoyan lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Moreiro hang on?
Bunoyan controlling from the full mount.
Bunoyan connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bunoyan controlling the pace for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moreiro takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bunoyan controlling the position easily from mount.

Bunoyan is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Moreiro is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Moreiro flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Bunoyan anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Moreiro and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Bunoyan slips an arm under Moreiro chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Bunoyan has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Bunoyan is squeezing on Moreiro like an anaconda would it's prey. Moreiro fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). George Bunoyan!
