Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chay Willis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Hoist the Colours. Willis has chosen As I Lay Dying - Through Struggle as his entrance music. Chay Willis is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chay Willis! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jones slips a jab and a cross from Willis.
Willis gets the takedown into side control. Willis looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Willis looks up at the clock and then as Jones takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Willis smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Willis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to improve his position but Willis is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Willis throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Willis has advanced to mount. Uh oh. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones is squirming around, avoiding Willis's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Willis controlling from mount. Jones is working to get back to half guard.
Poor strikes thrown by Willis there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Willis looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chay Willis dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Willis counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jones misses with a body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jones.
Willis dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Willis counters with a left to the body. Jones throws a poor cross that misses
and Willis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Willis counters with a nice double leg into guard. Willis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Willis wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Willis doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Willis manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Willis looking to pass the guard. Willis sitting in guard, not really doing much. Willis trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jones throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Willis slips nicely into half guard. Willis prevents Jones from improving his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Willis is trying to control. Jones wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Willis is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jones defends it well. Willis content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jones looking for submissions off his back. Willis sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jones defending well though. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Willis in particular looking to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chay Willis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Willis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Jones is trying to improve his position. Jones prevents Willis from improving position. Jones taking a bit of punishment here - Willis scoring with strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee asks Willis politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Willis prefers to stall for the moment though. Jones manages to work his way to half guard, despite Willis's best efforts. Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Willis defends it easily. Willis lands a couple of elbows.

Jones wants to hit a switch here but Willis passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Jones there! Chay Willis has got the better of the ground game so far. Willis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Willis. Willis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jones is looking to escape. Willis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jones looks a forlorn figure.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Willis cracks Jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Willis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Willis punishing his opponent with strikes. Chay Willis is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Willis landing punches. Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Willis has a good base and remains in mount. David Jones has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Chay Willis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Willis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
