Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aodhan o hAodha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Welch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). o hAodha comes into the arena with Cursum Perficio by Enya blaring out of the sound system. Welch has chosen Stemm's Face The Pain as his entrance music. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
o hAodha misses with a head kick.
Welch scores with a hook to the body. o hAodha takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
o hAodha fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Welch dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
o hAodha misses with a head kick.
Welch cracks o hAodha with an open hand slap.
Welch looks to land a combination. o hAodha sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Welch misses with a series of wild punches.
Welch lands the left hand.
o hAodha tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
o hAodha is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Welch.
Jab, jab by Welch - just one landing.
o hAodha is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Welch works the jab nicely.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Welch lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
The fight stays on the outside here - o hAodha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Welch connects with a looping right hand.
Danga de danga de dang - Welch scores with a four punch combination!
o hAodha shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Welch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A head kick misses from o hAodha.
o hAodha is breathing heavily.

Welch scores with a shot to the body.
A punch lands to the side of o hAodha 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Good standup being displayed there by Welch as he connects with a hook.
o hAodha moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Welch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but o hAodha circles away quickly and effectively.
Welch goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

o hAodha is rocked!
A left lands for Welch.
Oh o hAodha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Welch is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! o hAodha had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
o hAodha tries to clinch but Welch moves away

and Welch counters with a crisp one two that drops o hAodha! Welch thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves o hAodha to his feet! o hAodha is in big trouble!
o hAodha gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! o hAodha tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Welch is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and o hAodha buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves o hAodha!! o hAodha is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Welch throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
