Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Huaka i Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Turcotte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po comes to the cage accompanied by Misirlou by Dick Dale & The Del Tones. Dennis Turcotte has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Huaka i Po's chin.

Po throws a jab but it's blocked by Turcotte.
Turcotte throws a low kick but it's checked well by Po.
Turcotte throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Nice cross by Po.
Turcotte with a poor takedown
and Po connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Po uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Turcotte has time to react.
Po misses with a hook.
Turcotte wants to slow Po down by chopping away at his legs.
Po throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Huaka i Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turcotte shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Po as he avoids it easily.

Po loads up on a big right hand but Turcotte slips the punch.

Turcotte steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Po.
Po throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turcotte sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Po tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Turcotte manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Po thuds his right hand into Turcotte's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Po is trying to stand up here but Turcotte is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turcotte is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Po sees it coming and defends easily.
Turcotte is pressing down on Po's thigh, looking to free his foot. Po is holding on for now.

Turcotte has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Huaka i Po.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Po, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
