Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kamden Riker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mindaugas Kryzius!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kryzius tries to clinch but Riker is having none of it.
Sloppy strikes from Kryzius. Those never looked like landing.
Kryzius tries to close the distance and clinch up but Riker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kryzius fails with a takedown attempt.
Kryzius misses with a series of wild punches.
Kryzius throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Mindaugas Kryzius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Riker doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kryzius counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Kryzius thows a big elbow that misses.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kryzius accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Riker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kryzius wants to control from the top but Riker keeps moving.
Kryzius works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Riker is refusing to be controlled, as Kryzius sits in half guard.
Kryzius is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kryzius moves into full mount! Riker won't be happy about that!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kryzius tries to free his leg and advance position but Riker is retaining full guard.
Kryzius passes Riker's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Riker is breathing heavily.
Riker is in trouble now - Kryzius has advanced to mount!
Riker is squirming around, avoiding Kryzius's attempts to control the action.
Riker manages to control the position for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kryzius is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Riker has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Riker!

Riker wants to control from the top but Kryzius keeps moving.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Kryzius uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Kryzius fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Riker sprawls well initially but Kryzius persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mindaugas Kryzius has got the better of the ground game so far.
Kryzius stalling away here and it's allowed Riker to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Riker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kryzius tries to lock up and control but Riker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Riker cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Riker swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kryzius is now in Riker's guard. A big mistake from Riker there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kryzius gets to his feet. Riker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Kryzius looks for a takedown but Riker sprawls well.

Riker misses with a takedown
and Kryzius makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kryzius leaves Riker with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kamden Riker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kryzius connects with a high kick.
Riker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kryzius's waist but Kryzius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Riker off to one side.
Riker swats away the attempt to clinch by Kryzius.
Kryzius throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mindaugas Kryzius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.


Riker swinging wildly here.

Kryzius tries to pull guard but Riker holds him up against the cage and eventually Kryzius drops back down to his feet.
Kryzius wants to get back to striking at distance but Riker won't allow it.

Kryzius has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Riker clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Will Kryzius go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Riker just trying to survive but Kryzius is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Riker is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
The referee is taking a good look at Riker as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Kryzius!

Kryzius is squirming around, avoiding Riker's attempts to control the action.

Riker gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Riker blocks a head kick by Kryzius.
Riker circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kryzius slips a jab from Riker.

Kryzius pushes Riker up against the cage in a clinch.
Riker lands an elbow inside.
Riker wants a takedown.
Kryzius with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Riker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kryzius walks away with a smile on his face. Riker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Kryzius counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Riker's guard now.

Mindaugas Kryzius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kryzius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
