Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Justin Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brian Maddox told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Maddox.
Maddox takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Maddox lands a nice hook to Case's body. Case takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Maddox counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Maddox.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Maddox has hold of one of Case's legs. Case is fighting the takedown attempt but Maddox gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Maddox wants to control from the top but Case keeps moving.
Maddox has gone for a leg lock! Case slips out almost immediately though and dives into Maddox's guard.
Case postures up and lands a big shot to Maddox's brow.
Case wants to stand but Maddox has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
