Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ill Yourneck!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kuklinski gets a clinch.

and Kuklinski counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Kuklinski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kuklinski breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kuklinski rushes Yourneck and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Yourneck throws a leg kick which misses Kuklinski's front leg but catches the back leg as Kuklinski tries to avoid it.

and Kuklinski counters with an inside leg kick.
Nice uppercut lands for Yourneck. That snapped Kuklinski's head back.

Kuklinski clinches.
Kuklinski drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yourneck pulls his leg out and moves away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kuklinski closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Yourneck is trying to break the clinch but Kuklinski is controlling him.

Yourneck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Kuklinski counters with a thumping low kick.

and Kuklinski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kuklinski is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Yourneck reverses the position - he's now on top in Kuklinski's guard.

Kuklinski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Yourneck is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kuklinski.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kuklinski manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yourneck is defending against the submission attempts here by Kuklinski.

Kuklinski looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Yourneck is avoiding damage well.

Kuklinski is trying to get an arm triangle but Yourneck is defending well.
Yourneck is looking to reverse the position.
Kuklinski wants to control but Yourneck is keeping him busy.

Kuklinski goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Yourneck has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kuklinski but great work by Yourneck.

Yourneck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kuklinski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kuklinski can't do much from the bottom here.
Kuklinski is looking for a sweep.
Kuklinski gets back to half guard.
Kuklinski is looking for a sweep. Yourneck is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
It looks like Yourneck is going to stand back up.
Kuklinski is looking to control Yourneck's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kuklinski avoid being mounted?
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kuklinski moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kuklinski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Kuklinski is looking to work some ground and pound but Yourneck has wrist control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Yourneck pulls Kuklinski in close to his closed guard and prevents Kuklinski from doing any damage or advancing position.
Richard Kuklinski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kuklinski controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Kuklinski wants to control from the top but Yourneck keeps moving.
Kuklinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yourneck swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Kuklinski slips nicely into half guard.

Yourneck pushes Kuklinski off, looking to escape but Kuklinski dives into side control. He's locked up a kimura now - that was fast! He's cranking on it and Yourneck is forced to tap! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Richard Kuklinski!
