Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koslovski scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kerr looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Koslovski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Koslovski in side control lands a decent elbow.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Koslovski is looking to take a break and control but Kerr is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Kerr's face as Koslovski controls the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Koslovski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kerr sees it coming and defends easily.
Kerr is staying active underneath Koslovski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kerr is trying to stand up here but Koslovski is controlling him well.
Koslovski perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Koslovski knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kerr on the ground.

Koslovski seems to be working for a kimura but Kerr defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Koslovski tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kerr knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Kerr is staying active underneath Koslovski, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Koslovski tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kerr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Koslovski somewhat.

Koslovski decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Koslovski tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kerr smiles and moves away.

Kerr takes the fight into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Koslovski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kerr as he jumps to the side.
Koslovski looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Koslovski shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Koslovski. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Kerr closes the distance and pushes Koslovski back into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerr is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Koslovski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Kerr keeps control of Koslovski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Koslovski jumps guard but Kerr stands there with Koslovski around his waist. Koslovski gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kerr wants to get back to his feet but Koslovski is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Kerr has Koslovski pressed against the cage, preventing Koslovski from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kerr has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Koslovski avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Koslovski jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kerr walks away with a smile on his face. Koslovski gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Koslovski is pressing down on Kerr's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kerr is holding on for now.

Kerr tries to roll over but Koslovski keeps him under control.
Kerr wants to get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Koslovski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kerr does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Koslovski here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Vladimir Koslovski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Koslovski can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Kerr is looking to escape.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
BOOM! Koslovski connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Koslovski is looking to work his way around to Kerr's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.

Koslovski wants to control the pace but Kerr is squirming around nicely.
