Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ziggy Marloney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micka Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ziggy Marloney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Micka Wallace! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wallace shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marloney is trying to maintain the position but Wallace is very close to passing his half guard. Wallace thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Marloney's head. Marloney throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Wallace is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Wallace works his foot free and advances to mount. Wallace throws some wild stikes that Marloney manages to avoid easily.

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marloney tries to get out of the position. Wallace unloads with some shots from mount but Marloney bucks and avoids them well.

Marloney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wallace is looking to stand but Wallace has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Wallace is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Marloney has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Marloney! Wallace looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Wallace wants to stand but Marloney is controlling the position. Wallace bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Wallace looks gassed! Wallace misses with a series of wild punches.
Wallace stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Marloney. That kick from Marloney tenderised Wallace's leg. Wallace is trying to keep his angry face on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wallace looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wallace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marloney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Marloney tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wallace wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Wallace is looking to take a break and control but Marloney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marloney manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Marloney lands a nice short elbow. Marloney throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Marloney wants to control but Wallace is keeping him busy. Marloney thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Wallace's head. Marloney shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Marloney throws a leg kick that is checked and Wallace counters with a three punch combo that has Marloney backing up. Marloney nods at Wallace to acknowledge the strikes. A momentary lapse in concentration from Marloney enables Wallace to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marloney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wallace stopping the sweep attempt from Marloney. Wallace tries to stand but Marloney is controlling from the bottom. Wallace throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wallace stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marloney swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wallace lands a couple of elbows. Wallace is pushing down on Marloney's leg trying to pass to half guard. Marloney is fighting to maintain full guard but Wallace has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marloney moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Wallace slips nicely into half guard. Marloney tries to get to full guard but Wallace has control of the leg. Marloney taking some punishment here, with Wallace in his half guard. Wallace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marloney is just riding it out for now. Wallace eventually gives up the hold. Marloney is trying to control but can't.

Wallace stands up over Marloney, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Wallace slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wallace stands up and beckons Marloney to his feet. Ziggy Marloney seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wallace tries to clinch up but Marloney circles away and keeps his distance. A left and a right from Wallace both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Ziggy Marloney has been cut. Wallace misses with a two punch combination.
Wallace looks to clinch and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Wallace scores with a jab. Marloney acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Marloney takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice body punch from Wallace. Marloney fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wallace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micka Wallace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Ziggy Marloney's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Marloney feints and then cracks Wallace's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wallace down. Wallace throws a right hand that Marloney ducks under and follows up with a left that Marloney also avoids with ease. Wallace drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wallace won't allow Marloney to sweep him here. Marloney wants to control the position but Wallace says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Wallace is pressing down on Marloney's thigh, looking to free his foot. Marloney is holding on for now. Marloney is trying to control but can't.

Marloney is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Wallace knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Wallace for a finish. Wallace breaks Marloney's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Wallace is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marloney is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marloney has escaped and now he's on top! Wallace wants to stand but Marloney is controlling the position. Marloney engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Marloney prevents Wallace from getting back to his feet. Wallace keeping moving, preventing Marloney from controlling successfully. Micka Wallace is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marloney stops Wallace from standing up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wallace is on top in guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Micka Wallace comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wallace has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
