The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crokopovich swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crokopovich sprawls well. Crokopovich wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Thomas gets slowly back to his feet.

and Crokopovich counters with a one-two to the body.

and Crokopovich counters with a left and a right that stings Thomas.

and Crokopovich counters with a left and a right that stings Thomas.

and Crokopovich counters with a three punch combo that has Thomas backing up. Thomas nods at Crokopovich to acknowledge the strikes.
Thomas darts in trying to clinch

Mirco Crokopovich has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Devin Thomas.
Crokopovich throws a right and a left that both miss.
Crokopovich moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Crokopovich swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Crokopovich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Crokopovich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Thomas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Thomas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Crokopovich avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Thomas throws a strike but Crokopovich rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thomas pulls Crokopovich in to control the position.
Crokopovich wanted to stand there but Thomas had control of the position.

Thomas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crokopovich stacks Thomas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crokopovich!
Thomas wants to get back to his feet but Crokopovich drags him back down.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
You can see the frustration on Thomas's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Crokopovich has control of an arm but Thomas manages to advance to Crokopovich's back!
Crokopovich manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Crokopovich.
