Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kawoski fails to land the takedown. Kawoski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Scotsdale swivels and escapes. Kawoski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Igor Kawoski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kawoski shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Kawoski. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kawoski scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Kawoski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kawoski thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Scotsdale's head. Kawoski seems to be looking for submissions.
Kawoski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Scotsdale is positioning himself well to prevent Kawoski advancing to mount. Scotsdale is trying to stand up here but Kawoski is controlling him well. That's one minute gone in the round. Scotsdale utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kawoski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kawoski drops back looking for a leg! Scotsdale is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Scotsdale manages to kick Kawoski off! Kawoski jumps back into Scotsdale's guard. Scotsdale manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kawoski manages to get himself to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kawoski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Scotsdale gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kawoski is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Scotsdale defends well. Kawoski working for a triangle but Scotsdale defends it easily.
Scotsdale showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Scotsdale really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kawoski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kawoski wants to stand up but Scotsdale is controlling him. Kawoski had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Scotsdale defends it easily. Scotsdale got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kawoski has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Scotsdale has managed to get both his arms back between Kawoski's legs - danger averted. Kawoski is breathing heavily. Kawoski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kawoski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Scotsdale avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Scotsdale slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kawoski looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kawoski being controlled here, momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Igor Kawoski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kawoski takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Igor Kawoski has been cut. Jab from Scotsdale. Scotsdale connects with a leg kick. Kawoski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Igor Kawoski is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A head kick lands from Scotsdale that sends Kawoski to the canvas. Kawoski tries to scramble back to his feet but Scotsdale brings him back down into side control.
Kawoski is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kawoski being controlled for a moment. Oh Kawoski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kawoski seems to have got his legs back now. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kawoski tries to bench press Scotsdale off him but Scotsdale keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scotsdale stands up. A big right from Kawoski misses. Scotsdale gets in close and instigates a clinch. Scotsdale breaks from the clinch.
Scotsdale throws a head kick that Kawoski semi-blocks.
Kawoski fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Scotsdale lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Kawoski goes down and covers up as Scotsdale starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Phillip Scotsdale!
