Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Brinkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harver Danjah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kevin Brinkman could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Harver Danjah's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kevin Brinkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harver Danjah! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brinkman shoots in looking for a takedown. Danjah tries to sprawl out of it but Brinkman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Danjah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Brinkman throws a nice looking combination but Danjah bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Danjah should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Danjah walks into a jab. Brinkman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Danjah's guard. Danjah lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Danjah wants to stand and escape but Brinkman is having none of it. Danjah tries to land a sweep but no joy. Danjah is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Brinkman wants to stand and escape but instead Danjah has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Danjah pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Brinkman is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danjah missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Danjah passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Danjah content to control rather than advance. Brinkman trying to control from the bottom.
Brinkman pushes Danjah off looking to stand but Danjah dives back in and keeps control.
Brinkman is refusing to be controlled, as Danjah sits in half guard. Brinkman is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Danjah on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Brinkman shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Danjah but Danjah pushes him off and we're back to square one. Danjah shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Danjah showed some decent athleticism there. Brinkman avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Danjah. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brinkman pushes Danjah off and gets back to his feet. Brinkman is breathing heavily. Brinkman misses with a two punch combination.
Brinkman lands a two punch combo.
Brinkman looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Brinkman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Danjah on the ground. Brinkman being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brinkman would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Danjah is pulling down on Brinkman's head. It's preventing any offense from Brinkman, at least for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Danjah lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Brinkman!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Brinkman is in a horrible position here. Danjah smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Brinkman tries to lock up and control but Danjah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Danjah controlling the pace for now. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Danjah cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Brinkman really wants to buck Danjah off and get back to his feet. Danjah controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kevin Brinkman will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Brinkman stalks Danjah and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Danjah's face. Danjah staggers backwards, shaken.
Danjah is rocked! Brinkman Rushes Danjah and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Danjah is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Brinkman Piles on the pressure and Danjah crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kevin Brinkman!
