Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Vioto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vioto comes to the cage accompanied by Eminem - Not Afraid . Castro has chosen Kreator - Hordes of Chaos as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George Vioto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henrique Castro! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vioto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Castro. Vioto circles away from the clinch attempt.
Vioto displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Castro. Castro throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vioto was covering up waiting for the punch and Castro finishes the takedown easily into guard. Vioto looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Castro passes into half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Castro is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Vioto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Vioto thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Castro tries to get back to half guard but can't. Vioto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Castro, who protects the arm well. Castro manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Vioto working for a choke but Castro is defending well. Vioto is persistently looking for the submission but Castro is defending it well.
Vioto is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Castro knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Castro for a finish. Vioto patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Castro tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
