Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Greek Gyros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grigori Kharkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gyros comes to the cage accompanied by Greek Gyros. Kharkov has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Greek Gyros has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gyros leaves Kharkov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gyros fails with the takedown and Kharkov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gyros won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gyros wants to get back to his feet. Kharkov looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gyros is avoiding damage well.
Kharkov prevents Gyros from escaping the position. Kharkov throws a strike aimed at the side of Gyros's head but Gyros avoids it well. Gyros parries the strikes from Kharkov easily there. Kharkov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gyros to escape.
Gyros wants to get back to his feet. Check out the look on Kharkov's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Gyros on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gyros tries to get out of the position. Kharkov looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Gyros is avoiding damage well.
Gyros struggling a bit here. Gyros takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kharkov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kharkov grinds an elbow into Gyros's temple.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kharkov works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
It looks like Greek Gyros has been cut. Kharkov landing a few strikes. Gyros takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Greek Gyros's cut is getting worse. Kharkov lands a nice forearm strike. Kharkov working the ground and pound.
Gyros is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gyros is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kharkov has just dragged him back down to the mat. Kharkov in side control lands a decent elbow. Oh Gyros is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Greek Gyros's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Greek Gyros's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
