Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Las Vegas Baby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Las Vegas Baby!
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vegas Baby tried to score with a low kick but Joseph checks it.
Vegas Baby pivots, looking for a leg kick but Joseph is out of range and Vegas Baby settles back down.
Vegas Baby throws a low kick, looking for Joseph's leg but Joseph calmly moves out of range.
Vegas Baby finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Joseph checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Joseph closes the distance and clinches.
Vegas Baby is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Joseph is keeping busy.
Vegas Baby blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Joseph tries to land a knee to the head but Vegas Baby blocks with his arms.
Vegas Baby's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Joseph prevents Vegas Baby from breaking the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joseph prevents a takedown attempt there.
Vegas Baby changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Joseph fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Vegas Baby throws out a leg kick but Joseph moves out of range and Vegas Baby only half commits.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vegas Baby fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Joseph checks it well.
Some bone on bone action there as Joseph checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Joseph lands a big head kick that sends Vegas Baby tumbling to the mat! Joseph takes a step backwards and waves Vegas Baby back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Vegas Baby is rocked!
It looks like Las Vegas Baby has been cut.
Vegas Baby looks gassed!
Joseph cracks Vegas Baby's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Vegas Baby slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Joseph can do further damage! This one is done, son!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mitchell Joseph!
