Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kabunyan Danglose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kjell Brel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danglose comes to the cage accompanied by Day And Night. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kabunyan Danglose!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kjell Brel!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brel throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Danglose's waist but Danglose gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Brel off to one side.
Danglose looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Brel shoots in and bounces Danglose off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Brel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danglose swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Brel is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brel slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Danglose struggling a bit here.
Brel is looking to take a break and control but Danglose is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Brel looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Brel working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Brel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Danglose has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brel is working to tighten is grip on Danglose's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Danglose has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Brel is really squeezing tight and eventually Danglose passes out! Brel breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
