and Vasquel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Vasquel misses with the combination.
Simmons with a poor takedown
and Vasquel counters with a series of strikes that sends Simmons to the canvas! Vasquel follows down into guard, looking to finish the fight!
Simmons is rocked!
Vasquel gets to his feet and stands over Simmons, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Simmons felt that one! Vasquel unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Simmons from any more punishment!
