Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kelowna Okanagan !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Egnell!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okanagan closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Egnell quickly recovers to half guard.
Okanagan wants to pass to mount but Egnell is defending the position.
Egnell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Okanagan . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Egnell trying to hold on to Okanagan 's head to control him but Okanagan postures up.
Okanagan wants to take a breather but Egnell is having none of it.
Egnell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Okanagan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Egnell!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Egnell wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Egnell is squirming around, avoiding Okanagan 's attempts to control the action.
Okanagan lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Okanagan goes for an armbar but Egnell turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Egnell.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Okanagan has his foot on Egnell's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Egnell works his way back into a safe position though.
Egnell trying to control but Okanagan is working from the bottom.
Okanagan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Okanagan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Egnell puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Okanagan is pressing down on Egnell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Egnell throws a strike but Okanagan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Okanagan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Egnell is keeping the position for now.
Egnell wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Okanagan is now in half guard.
Okanagan prevents Egnell from standing back up.
Okanagan is trying for a kimura here. Egnell looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Okanagan wins by kimura!
