Morton comes to the cage accompanied by Rock N Roll-Led Zeppelin. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Jonathan Paton and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dempsey scores with the left hand. Morton knows he should have avoided that one.
Morton thows a body shot but no joy.
Dempsey with a poor takedown
and Morton counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Dempsey's guard now.
Dempsey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Morton is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Dempsey lands a nice shot to the head.

Morton can't escape the position.

Morton is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Dempsey throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Morton because Dempsey loaded up on that one.

Dempsey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Morton is rocked!
Morton tries to reverse the position but Dempsey maintains control.
Dempsey thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morton tries to hold on but Dempsey postures up.
Dempsey lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Oh Morton is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dempsey looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Morton covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
