Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignatius Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simpson has chosen Devil on My Shoulder as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ignatius Reilly! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chuck Simpson! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simpson throws a series of punches but Reilly avoids them all with ease. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Reilly lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Simpson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Simpson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Simpson throws a big shot that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Reilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Simpson moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A low kick from Simpson misses and Reilly counters with a nice leg kick. Simpson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Simpson misses with an uppercut. Reilly saw that one coming. Reilly checks a leg kick. Reilly walks into a left hand. Simpson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Reilly fails with an attempt to clinch.
A low kick from Simpson is predictable there and Reilly counters with a nice low kick that buckles Simpson's knee momentarily. Simpson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Simpson misses with a double jab
and Reilly counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Chuck Simpson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Simpson looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good exchange - Reilly coming out on top. The fight stays on the outside here - Reilly looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Simpson throws a lazy uppercut
and Reilly counters with a nice leg kick. Simpson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reilly. That one must have hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simpson stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Reilly. Reilly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reilly moves into the clinch. Reilly lands a damaging elbow. Reilly utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A frustrated look appears on Simpson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Reilly lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Simpson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Reilly has him pressed against the cage. Reilly gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Reilly lands a knee to the head.
Reilly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Simpson.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Reilly takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Reilly lands a shot to the body. Reilly stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Reilly pressing his opponent against the cage. Reilly cracks Simpson with a nice body shot. Reilly lands with a short shot to the head. Reilly putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Simpson in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Simpson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Reilly fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Simpson takes an elbow to the temple. Reilly will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Simpson up against the cage. Reilly lands a left hand.

Reilly unloads a knee to the mid-section. Simpson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Reilly stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. The referee is keeping an eye on Reilly - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Simpson is trying to drag Reilly to the mat but Reilly just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ignatius Reilly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Simpson. Reilly throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Simpsons head. Reilly lands a nice elbow. A nice right hand lands inside from Reilly. Reilly using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Simpson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Simpson tries to pull guard but Reilly holds him up against the cage and eventually Simpson drops back down to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Reilly pushes Simpson back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Simpson takes an elbow to the forehead. Reilly landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Reilly. Simpson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Reilly just stands there and leans against the cage. Reilly utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. A nice left hand lands by Reilly.
Nice elbow from Reilly. Reilly unloads a knee to the mid-section. Simpson lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Simpson takes an elbow to the temple. Simpson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Reilly avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. The referee calls for Reilly to work.
Simpson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reilly uses from the top position. Reilly stands up and waves to Simpson to follow him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reilly throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Reilly chopping away at his opponent's legs.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Simpson throws a nice looking combination but Reilly bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reilly jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Simpson thows a leg kick but Reilly checks it and Reilly counters with a nice low kick that buckles Simpson's knee momentarily. Reilly takes the fight into the clinch. Simpson has a couple of punches blocked by Reilly.
Simpson goes for a takedown attempt but Reilly pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Reilly cracks the inside of Simpson's front leg. Reilly feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Simpson's calf. Simpson is breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reilly lunges at Simpson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Simpson's hand. Reilly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reilly tries to clinch but Simpson moves out of range. Reilly has closed the distance and engaged Simpson in a clinch.
Reilly lands a nice knee to the body. Reilly scores with a shot to the side of Simpson's head. Reilly lands an elbow just above Simpson 's eye. Reilly creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Simpson's defenses. Reilly manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Reilly gets through Simpson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Simpson's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Nice elbow from Reilly. Reilly connects with a knee to the head.
Reilly gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Reilly scores with a shoulder strike. Simpson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Simpson managing to block the knees to the body from Reilly.

and Reilly counters with a stiff right hand. Reilly fails in his attempt to clinch. Reilly tries to close the distance and clinch but Simpson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Simpson misses with a body shot.
Simpson throws a combination that misses and Reilly counters by clinching up. Simpson jumps guard and drags Reilly to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Simpson is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Simpson looking for a triangle here. Reilly is fighting it but it looks tight! Simpson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Reilly is tapping out - this one is all over!
