Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Van Hook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Tassen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Hook kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Cure's Close To Me. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tassen wants a takedown but no success here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tassen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Van Hook with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Van Hook seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
