The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Winter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Winter pushes down on Simpson's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Simpson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Winter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Simpson!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Winter cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Winter fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The cut above Bart Simpson's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winter lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Simpson is rocked!
Bart Simpson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Bart Simpson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
