Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Haruki Murakami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gilson FIgueiredo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gilson FIgueiredo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

I looks like FIgueiredo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

FIgueiredo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Murakami swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Murakami feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to FIgueiredo's calf.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

FIgueiredo shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Murakami is on queer street and FIgueiredo is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
