The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gecko waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Higham.

Oooooh!!! Gecko has knocked Higham down with a huge combo! Gecko steps away and waves a wobbly Higham back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Higham is rocked!

It looks like Keith Higham has been cut.

Higham has closed the distance and engaged Gecko in a clinch.
Oh Higham is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Higham drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gecko is trying to force a seperation but Higham has the dominant position.
Higham seems to have got his legs back now.
Higham fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Higham drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gecko pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keith Higham. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gecko lands a big right hand that sends Higham crashing to the mat! Gecko stays standing though and waves Higham back to his feet!

Gecko tries to keep at a distance but Higham has taken the fight into the clinch.
Higham can't find room to land a body shot as Gecko controls the action.
Higham tries a body shot but Gecko blocks it.
Gecko stops a takedown attempt from Higham.
Higham has Gecko pressed against the cage, preventing Gecko from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Higham is working for takedown but Gecko is calmly controlling the position for now.
Gecko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Higham has him pressed against the cage.
Higham jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gecko walks away with a smile on his face. Higham gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Higham fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Higham shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Gecko lands a big uppercut and Higham crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Higham looks OK. Gecko waves Higham back to his feet!
Gecko misses with a looping right.
Gecko misses with a low kick.
Gecko throws an uppercut from hell that sends Higham clean off his feet! He's out cold! Gecko stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
