Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phil Aylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aylor comes to the cage accompanied by Anberlin - Feel Good Drag. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Aylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Adam White!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, William Gold and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White shoots in for a takedown but Aylor shows good takedown defense.
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Aylor slips a jab and a cross from White.
White takes a swing at Aylor's ribcage but misses.
White avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

White is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Aylor's half guard.
Aylor tries to kick White off but White keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Aylor defending well though.
White wants to free his trapped foot but Aylor is holding on for dear life with his legs.
White not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Aylor kicks White off and gets back to his feet.
Aylor misses with a right hand
and White counters with a series of strikes. Aylor will be more careful next time no doubt.
Phil Aylor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Aylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aylor is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, White asserts his dominance and retains side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
White scores with a couple of short elbows.


Aylor is rocked!
White lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Oh Aylor is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
White cracks Aylor with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! White immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Aylor is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by White!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam White!
