Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Takeya Fashita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Sandstorm as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from Silva. Those never looked like landing.
Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fashita circles away quickly and effectively.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fashita.
Fashita dodges the punch combination from Silva.
No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fashita moves into the clinch successfully.
Fashita turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Silva parries the strikes from Fashita easily there. Fashita is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Silva to escape.
You can see the frustration on Silva's face as Fashita controls the position.

and Fashita counters with a shoot takedown. Silva fights it but they end up in guard.
Silva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fashita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fashita is looking to work some ground and pound but Silva has wrist control.

Fashita gets to his feet. Silva looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Fashita lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Fashita throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Silva was covering up waiting for the punch and Fashita finishes the takedown easily into guard.
