Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Barrera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hansen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "Now You've Got Something to Die For" by Lamb of God. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlos Barrera! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrew Hansen! The judges for this bout are , and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barrera fails with the takedown and Hansen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Carlos Barrera has been cut. Hansen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hansen misses with a looping left. Barrera blocks a head kick by Hansen.
Barrera keeps the fight on the outside. Barrera swats away the attempt to clinch by Hansen.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Hansen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hansen throws a looping overhand right but Barrera ducks down to avoid it. A slow jab from Hansen misses its intended target. Barrera feints and as Hansen raises his hands in defense, Barrera changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Barrera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Barrera won't allow Hansen to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Barrera stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hansen swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hansen seems keen to control Barrera's posture. Barrera drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Hansen manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Barrera has Hansen in his guard. Barrera looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Hansen wants to stand but Barrera is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hansen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Barrera is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Hansen has his hands clasped together but Barrera extends an breaks Hansen's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Barrera.
