Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Eriksson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Awesome Bob! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob misses with a head kick.
Eriksson throws a head kick but Bob moves out of range.
Bob shoots in for a takedown but Eriksson shows good takedown defense. Bob throws a series of punches but Eriksson avoids them all with ease. Bob darts in and clinches Eriksson up against the cage. Bob drops down looking for an ankle pick but Eriksson pulls his leg out and moves away.
Eriksson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Awesome Bob has been cut. Eriksson takes the fight into the clinch. Bob working hard to break the clinch. Bob letting Eriksson take a breather here. Eriksson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bob just stands there and leans against the cage. A nice left hand lands by Bob.
Eriksson tries to pull guard but Bob holds him up against the cage and eventually Eriksson drops back down to his feet.
Bob is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Eriksson prevents a takedown attempt there.
William Eriksson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Awesome Bob.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eriksson keeps control of Bob as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bob pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Eriksson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Bob looks gassed! Eriksson tries a head kick but it misses.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eriksson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Eriksson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Eriksson has a takedown stuffed. Eriksson wants to clinch. Eriksson clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eriksson is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Eriksson pulls guard successfully.
Bob postures up in Eriksson's guard and throws a big left but Eriksson blocks it. Eriksson pulls Bob in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of William Eriksson. Eriksson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Eriksson tests Bob's chin there with a solid looking shot. Eriksson moves into the clinch. Eriksson is leaning against Bob and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Eriksson. Eriksson tries to pull guard but Bob won't allow it.
Eriksson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Eriksson rushes Bob and presses him up against the cage. Eriksson gets control of Bob's arms and successfully pulls guard. Eriksson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Eriksson seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Eriksson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eriksson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Eriksson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bob on the ground. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Bob is looking to stand up but Eriksson won't let him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ref stands the fighters back up. William Eriksson wasn't doing enough on the ground. Eriksson misses with a straight left. Eriksson takes the fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eriksson takes a step backwards and waves Bob back to his feet - he wants the finish! Bob keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Eriksson throws the kick towards the body but Bob avoids it. Bob avoids the head kick by Eriksson.
Bob stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Eriksson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eriksson tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Eriksson pushes Bob up against the cage in a clinch. Eriksson slows down the pace here.

Eriksson moves in looking to clinch but Bob pushes him off. Bob avoids a punch combination nicely.
Eriksson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bob manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Eriksson moves into the clinch. Eriksson pushes off an throws an elbow but Bob leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Eriksson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Bob takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Bob looking to sit in guard and control but Eriksson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Eriksson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eriksson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bob, up you get! Eriksson takes the fight into the clinch. Eriksson pulls guard effortlessly. Eriksson wants to stand up but Bob is controlling him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bob closes the distance and clinches up with Eriksson, looking for a takedown. Bob pushes Eriksson against the cage but Eriksson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Eriksson tries a head kick but it misses.

Eriksson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Eriksson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Eriksson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bob wants to stand but Eriksson is controlling the position. Eriksson's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bob is working an open guard so Eriksson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Bob as Eriksson shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Eriksson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Eriksson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bob circles away.

Bob shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Eriksson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Eriksson feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down. Bob gets caught flat footed, as Eriksson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Bob is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Eriksson content to stall in guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eriksson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Bob is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Eriksson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of William Eriksson. That kick from Eriksson tenderised Bob's leg. Bob is trying to keep his angry face on. William Eriksson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Eriksson lands with a shot to the body. Bob takes a head kick and keeps coming.

and Eriksson counters with a thumping low kick. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eriksson throws a sloppy head kick and Bob moves out of range easily. Eriksson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Eriksson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bob defends it nicely. Awesome Bob has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Eriksson shoots in looking for a takedown. Bob tries to sprawl out of it but Eriksson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bob manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And that's the end of the fight! William Eriksson showed his dominance in that final round. Well Eriksson has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
