The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drozdov with a lazy takedown attempt
and Borowski connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Borowski shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Borowski showed some decent athleticism there.
Borowski landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Drozdov is looking to escape.
Borowski is controlling the pace.
Borowski wants to work for an arm triangle but Drozdov is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Drozdov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Borowski is working away from the top position though.
