Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Kerr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bear Trapp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kerr might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Smash Your enemies - Hatebreed. Bear Trapp will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Kerr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bear Trapp! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerr shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Trapp counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Trapp perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Trapp decides to stand and escape the position. Kerr misses with a takedown and Trapp counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kerr won't be happy with that. Kerr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kerr is trying to control Trapp's posture but Trapp avoids it. Trapp is staying tight to Kerr's torso, preventing him from escaping. Kerr tries to buck Trapp off but Trapp is having none of it. Trapp decides to stand back up. Trapp steps back and let's Kerr get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Trapp cracks a nice hook into Kerr's ribs. Kerr tries for a takedown but Trapp circles away easily and Trapp counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kerr thinking. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Kerr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kerr is breathing heavily. Trapp throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Kerr doesn't succeed with the takedown and Trapp counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kerr thinking. Trapp lands with a shot to the body. Trapp has taken the fight to the clinch.
Trapp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Trapp darts in and clinches Kerr up against the cage. Kerr is fighting off a takedown attempt but Trapp is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kerr to the mat. Kerr regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Trapp not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Trapp stands and steps away. Kerr gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trapp comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trapp lands with a shot to the body. Trapp scores with a punch to the head. Trapp scores with a jab to the body. Trapp lands a jab to the head.
Kerr takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Kerr. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Trapp has Kerr up against the cage in a clinch.
Trapp breaks the clinch.
Trapp jabs at Kerr's body. Trapp throws a shot to the body.
Trapp lands with a kick to the temple. Kerr shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Trapp connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kerr's hands. Trapp scores with a punch to the head. Trapp gets in close and instigates a clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Trapp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bear Trapp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Trapp scores with a jab to the head.
Trapp takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Trapp lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kerr at a distance.
Kerr takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Trapp shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kerr eats them both and turns towards Trapp to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Trapp, right into the meat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Trapp comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Trapp has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Trapp connects with a body shot that sends Kerr's belly button to the back. Trapp circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Kerr drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Trapp follows Kerr to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bear Trapp!
