Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Mutt!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karelin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Aleksandr Karelin has been cut.
Karelin shoots in but no luck this time.
Mutt lands a head shot.
Karelin shoots in and bounces Mutt off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Karelin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mutt swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mutt utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mutt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mutt not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mutt wants to sweep here but Karelin controlling him for the moment.
Mutt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Karelin passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Mutt is looking for a sweep.
Karelin landing strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karelin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mutt keeps working.

Karelin in side control, throwing shots but Mutt defends.
Mutt is trying to improve his position.
Karelin grinds an elbow into Mutt's temple.
You can see the frustration on Mutt's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mutt is pushing Karelin's head away, looking to escape. Karelin manages to hold on to the position though.
Karelin lands a nice forearm strike.

Karelin works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Mutt is still in real trouble! Can Karelin finish him?
Karelin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Karelin lands a decent elbow from side control.
Karelin lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Mutt! Karelin senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Mutt out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
