Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makke Hakala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Tom Young has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Makke Hakala!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hakala shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Young sprawls well. Young wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hakala gets slowly back to his feet.

Young goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


It looks like Makke Hakala has been cut.

Hakala throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Young stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Young displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hakala.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
