The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Dameo Daredevil has been cut.
Washington fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daredevil, pushing him back against the cage.
Daredevil tries a knee to the head but Washington blocks it.
Washington pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Washington connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Daredevil looks to clinch
and Washington counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Washington.
Washington drags the fight down to the ground.
Washington manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tomar Washington overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Washington is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Daredevil's shoulder. That is not cool.
Washington will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Washington is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Washington seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Daredevil for as long as he can get away with.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Tomar Washington.
