Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Juan Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Fernando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo's entrance music is Dont Waste My Time. A fine choice. Fernando has chosen Audio Slave - Like a Stone as his entrance music. The key to victory for Juan Pablo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Pablo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Luis Fernando! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fernando looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pablo is fending him off so far but Fernando persists. Nope, Pablo circles away and we're back to standing. Fernando on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fernando misses with a wild body shot. Horrible takedown by Fernando or perhaps it was just good defense by Pablo which made him look bad. Fernando forces Pablo back against the cage and clinches. Fernando is working for takedown but Pablo is calmly controlling the position for now. Juan Pablo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Fernando. Pablo pulls Fernando into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Pablo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fernando controls the pace. Fernando trying to control but Pablo is working from the bottom. Fernando missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Fernando thows a big elbow that misses. Pablo trying to control the position.
Pablo tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pablo wants to get back to his feet but Fernando is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Fernando is looking to work some ground and pound but Pablo has wrist control. Fernando scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Fernando lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pablo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fernando manages to get himself to full guard.
Fernando has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pablo should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Fernando has tightened it up now! Pablo should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
