Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Francisco Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red Fox has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Red Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Francisco Santos! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santos ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fox leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Santos lands a jab to Fox's midsection. Santos shoots for a takedown but Fox saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A shot to the liver by Fox. Beautiful body shot. Santos steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fox. Santos shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fox is trying to defend but Santos finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Santos thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fox's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Fox! Santos tries to control but Fox wriggling away. Santos unloading with bombs! Fox is trying to stand. Santos looking to ground and pound but Fox is blocking nicely. Fox on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fox tries to get out of the position. Santos lands a big shot there that rocks Fox but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos thowing shots but they're missing. Santos has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Fox really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Santos lands a nice shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Santos looking to ground and pound but Fox is blocking nicely. Fox is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Santos dominating with strikes here. Santos misses with a head shot. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. A nice elbow there by Santos. Fox in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Fox is rocked! Fox knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Fox is breathing heavily. Fox wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Santos.
Santos fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Santos sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Fox holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Santos tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fox tries to reverse the position but Santos maintains control. Poor strikes thrown by Santos there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Santos throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Santos throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Santos throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Fox because Santos loaded up on that one. Santos is landing with some decent strikes but Fox is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fox takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. You get the feeling that Fox really doesn't like being in this position too much.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Francisco Santos dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Santos shoots in but no luck this time. Francisco Santos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Fox waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Santos. Some bone on bone action there as Santos checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Santos fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Santos takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fox uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos tries to clinch up. Santos is breathing heavily. Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Red Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Santos. Santos moves in looking to clinch but Fox pushes him off. Santos wants to clinch. Santos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Fox cracks Santos with a right hand to the side of the head. Fox pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Santos back to the cage. Fox follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Fox with a body punch. A glancing blow. Santos shoots for a double leg takedown but Fox sprawls well. He's pushed Santos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fox jabs Santos right on the nose. Santos blinks but takes it well. Santos takes one to the chin there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Santos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fox. Fox connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Santos walks into a stiff left hand from Fox. A left lands for Fox. A big left from Fox misses. Fox lands with a hook. Santos tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fox's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Fox duly obliges.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fox takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Santos shoots in for a double leg but Fox sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fox lands a jab to Santos's midsection. A slow jab from Fox misses its intended target. Fox darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fox is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fox connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Santos momentarily.
Fox looks to throw the jab but Santos is out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Red Fox dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Fox dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Santos avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Santos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fox's waist but Fox gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Santos off to one side. Fox stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fox wants it to stay on the feet. Santos will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Red Fox has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Francisco Santos. Santos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fox cracks Santos with a right hand to the side of the head. Nice straight punches there by Fox. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fox.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos blocks a low kick nicely. Nice defenses there by Santos. Fox fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Santos checks it well. Francisco Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Santos checks the leg kick nicely there.

Fox cracks Santos with a good jab. Fox bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Santos's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fox lands a really nice looking cross but Santos seems unphased.
Fox sizes up Santos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Santos walks into a stiff left hand from Fox. Santos takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Good exchange - Fox coming out on top. Fox digs a good body shot into Santos's ribs. Santos moves out of range of the leg kick from Fox. Santos walks into a straight right hand from Fox. Fox cracks a nice hook into Santos's ribs. Santos is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Santos has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fox connects with a looping right hand.
Horrible takedown by Santos or perhaps it was just good defense by Fox which made him look bad. Fox connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Santos momentarily.
Fox scores with a jab. Santos acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fox scores with a one two! Santos had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Santos uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fox.
And that's the end of the fight! Red Fox showed his dominance in that final round. I think Fox has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
