And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jin Endo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Endo moves out of range of the strikes.
Endo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bakunawa sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Endo fails to land the takedown.
Endo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Pedro Bakunawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Endo.
Bakunawa throws a jab when Endo was well out of range.
Endo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bakunawa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Endo somewhat.

Endo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Endo stops Bakunawa from getting back to his feet.
Endo is looking to take a break and control but Bakunawa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Endo thows a huge punch but Bakunawa dodges it nicely.
Bakunawa keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Endo stops Bakunawa from getting back to his feet.
Endo wants to control but Bakunawa is keeping him busy.
Endo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bakunawa's head.
Endo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Bakunawa tries to get back to half guard but can't.

A nice elbow there by Endo.

Endo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Bakunawa is surviving well by controlling Endo's body position as best he can.
Bakunawa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Endo on the ground.

A nice elbow there by Endo.
Bakunawa can't escape the position.
Bakunawa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bakunawa tries to get out of the position.
Bakunawa is breathing heavily.
Endo won't let Bakunawa get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Endo lands with some strikes.
Endo connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The referee warns Bakunawa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Endo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bakunawa looks a forlorn figure.

Endo has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bakunawa's face.

Endo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Endo lands with some strikes.

Endo is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Bakunawa is forced to tap! Great finish!
