Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okudja shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Goku napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goku is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Okudja working the ground and pound but Goku is defending the strikes.
Okudja throws a strike aimed at the side of Goku's head but Goku avoids it well.
Okudja cracks Goku with a big right hand but Goku just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Goku gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Goku wants to get back to full guard.
Goku wants to control but Okudja is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Goku slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Okudja is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Okudja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goku on the ground.
Okudja wants to pass the guard but Goku is keeping the position.
Okudja throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Goku works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Goku has his foot on Okudja's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Okudja works his way back into a safe position though.
Goku controls Okudja momentarily but Okudja frees himself.
Okudja might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Goku escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Okudja gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Okudja accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Goku is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Okudja is looking to improve his position.

Goku wants to work for an arm triangle but Okudja is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Goku is working for a kimura but Okudja is defending it quite comfortably.
Goku is trying to control the action in half guard but Okudja is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Goku seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Okudja has recovered full guard.
Okudja pulls Goku in to control the position.

Goku drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Okudja dives on top into guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Okudja makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Okudja.

A close round but Son Goku will probably get the nod.

Okudja connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Goku some visible discomfort.
Goku wants to control but Okudja postures up.

Goku is looking for a sweep. Okudja is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Okudja thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Okudja drops an elbow to the side of Goku's head.
Okudja is looking to take a break and control but Goku is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Goku is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Okudja's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Okudja's back!
Goku has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Okudja! Can he survive? No! He's out! Goku gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
