Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Egil Skallagrimsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dos Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skallagrimsson comes to the cage accompanied by Guardians of Aasgard. This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skallagrimsson wants to clinch but Santos slips to the side
and Skallagrimsson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Egil Skallagrimsson has been cut.
Skallagrimsson closes the distance but Santos moves to the side
and Skallagrimsson is countered with a crisp right hand from Santos that sends him to the canvas! Santos follows him to the mat into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Santos controls the position.
Let's hope that Santos has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Santos wants to control but Skallagrimsson is keeping him busy.

Santos tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Santos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Santos not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santos pushes down on Skallagrimsson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Santos is trying to control the action in half guard but Skallagrimsson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Santos is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Skallagrimsson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

enabling Santos to counter with a crisp jab.
Jeez, Egil Skallagrimsson's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Dos Santos seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Skallagrimsson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Santos is trying to improve his position.
Santos is not content to let Skallagrimsson control the position.
Skallagrimsson wants to take a breather but Santos manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Skallagrimsson.
Santos tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Santos is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Skallagrimssonis looking to pass into half guard but Santos pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Santos is in guard.

Santos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Santos is fighting to break Skallagrimsson's control of his arms but Skallagrimsson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Dos Santos showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Santos stuffs the takedown.
Skallagrimsson shoots in looking for a takedown. Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Skallagrimsson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Santos connects with a body shot.

Santos stuns Skallagrimsson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Santos moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Skallagrimsson! Santos continues to tee off on Skallagrimsson, landing with a left and a right! Santos connects with a right hand that leaves Skallagrimsson sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Santos!
