Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stipe Junakovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronaldo De Sousa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stipe Junakovic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ronaldo De Sousa! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junakovic gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows De Sousa to score an easy takedown into full guard. De Sousa pushes down on Junakovic's leg and manages to get into half guard. Junakovic trying to hold on to De Sousa's head to control him but De Sousa postures up.
De Sousa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Junakovic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Sousa. De Sousa is looking for a kimura but Junakovic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for De Sousa to get the leverage. De Sousa is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Junakovic has managed to free his arm - good work. Junakovic trying to control from the bottom.
Junakovic wants to get back to full guard. Junakovic keeping control of the position. De Sousa lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Sousa is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. De Sousa prevents Junakovic from improving his position. Junakovic wants to control but De Sousa is keeping busy and won't allow it. De Sousa is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Junakovic doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time De Sousa. Junakovic trying to control but De Sousa postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Sousa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. De Sousa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Junakovic with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. De Sousa is thwarting Junakovic's attempts to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. De Sousa scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Junakovic has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. De Sousa is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. De Sousa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. De Sousa looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. De Sousa lands a nice short elbow. Junakovic is trying to maintain the position but De Sousa is very close to passing his half guard. Junakovic is defending against the submission attempts here by De Sousa.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Sousa is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. De Sousa missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Sousa lands with a punch from half guard. De Sousa has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Junakovic defend it? De Sousa steps over the head and cranks it - Junakovic is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for De Sousa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ronaldo De Sousa!
